Orbit Lab

An interdisciplinary environment in which the tech talents of the future can be developed, and new, innovative ideas are rapidly translated into prototypes and realised in the real world. We combine the profound technical expertise of the University with the expertise of industry.

RESCUE Lab

The RESCUE Lab energy laboratory at Aarhus University provides new knowledge about how to optimise a sustainable electricity supply in Denmark and the rest of Europe. Both researchers and students, as well as companies in Denmark and abroad have access to the state-of-the-art technical facilities.

2,100 m2 Deep Tech Experimental Hub research facility of AU Engineering

The facility contains one of the largest indoor drone cages in Denmark, robotic facilities, a climate lab, engineering maker spaces, experimental wind tunnel laboratories and a range of other labs and workplaces for research in smart products, construction and infrastructure, metamaterials, etc.

Startup Factory

Many engineering students a dream of becoming entrepreneurs. At the Startup Factory, they can acquire new knowledge and competences, all of which will help them to realise their dream of starting up their own business. The Startup Factory also offers an entrepreneurial internship, where students can get an internship in their own company.
