Start-up to design prints
Start-up to design prints
Before you print make the following considerations:
Physical frames on the print
Size, shape and mounting holes (should it be able to fit in a box)
Power consumption of the design
(Are there areas where the power usage is especially high? And what about supply?)
Typical course width 0.5 mm
Click here for a form (guideline)
Click here for a calculator (formel form IPC-2221)
Which components should I use (footprint)
Physically measure the component or find a datasheet
Insulation distances are areas with extra requirements
(possibly 230V for low voltage)
Typical insulation distance 0.4 mm
Click here for a table of distance between copper vs. voltage (V)
