My research involves the use of novel technology in the clinical workflow, with a major focus on artificial intelligence (AI) through deep learning. Applications include image enhancement, automated image processing (e.g. segmentation), lesion detection, and risk assessment for treatment planning. I am also active in the overall area of medical physics / radiation protection in dentistry.
