MakerLab Pro

Info about the laboratory

MakerLab Pro is intended for 3D printing of demanding items that cannot be printed in the open MakerLab.

Below you will find an overview of the printers available in the laboratory, as well as information about their benefits.

Orders for 3D printing

Access to the laboratory is reserved for MakerLab Pilots and employees at ECE.

If students need to print items in MakerLab Pro, this will be done by making an order to the MakerLab Pilots.

FDM Printers

Ultimaker S5

  • Construction volume: 330 x 240 x 300 mm
  • Dual nozzle = 2+ simultane materials
  • Slice Thickness: 0.02 -> 0.3 mm
  • Materials: PLA, PVA, CPE, TPU

Raise 3D Pro2 Plus

  • Construction volume: 305 x 305 x 605 mm
  • Large-scale printer
  • Dual nozzle, i.e. 2 simultaneous materials
  • Slice Thickness: 0.05 -> 0.3 mm
  • Materials: PLA, PETG, TPU

Creality CR30

  • Construction volume: 200 x 170 x ∞ mm
  • Prints on a conveyor belt and can therefore print infinitely far
  • Slice Thickness: 0.05 -> 0.3 mm
  • Materials: PLA, PETG, TPU

Ultimaker 3 Extended

  • Construction volume: 197 x 215 x 300 mm
  • Dual nozzle = 2 simultaneous materials
  • Slice Thickness: 0.05 -> 0.3 mm
  • Materials: PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA
