At the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, we conduct research into technologies and methods in areas such as cybersecurity, energy systems, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, wireless networks and software.
The department is nationally and internationally recognised for technical and scientific research of the highest quality, and many of our research and development activities are carried out in close collaboration with companies and other external partners. This helps ensure that the new knowledge and technologies we create are put into practice and firmly rooted in real societal needs.
