Our research group alumnus Christian Graabæk Steenfeldt received his MSc degree in Computer Engineering, February 2019, on the topic of distributed sparse representation classification. He did his work with fellow student Mads Poder Petersen. After successfully completing their studies, they went directly into attractive jobs. Christian was hired by the consultancy company Syspeople, Aarhus, and moved to Australia with his girlfriend Sarah. He combines the freedom of travelling with working at Syspeople from afar. Our research group alumni Martin Jensen (left) and Kasper Nissen received their MSc degrees in Computer Engineering, June 2016, on the topic of resilient cluster computing. During their studies they set up the site, kubecloud.io, to keep track of some of their activities, and right after a successful completion of their final exam, they were interviewed by Software Engineering Daily to give a short summary of their thesis work. They went straight into attractive jobs at the Aarhus based fintech company Lunar. On the side, they run Cloud Native Aarhus which is part of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
