The vision for future electronics is composed of circuits and devices that are flexible, bendable, biocompatible, biodegradable and conformally integrated in to everyday objects. Birth of new-age electronics requires novel fabrication techniques that are compatible with low-temperature substrates. Printed Electronic Technology provides a unique route to enable functional circuits om unconventional surfaces (paper, textiles, polymers, biomaterials). The technology uses nanomaterial inks to print a circuit design on desired substrate, thus allowing a flexible form factor.
