If you want to become a PhD student in our group, you need to hold a relevant Master's degree with a good grade sheet and be passionate about our area of expertise. A PhD position is almost always externally funded via a research grant, and if you become a PhD student, you typically become a fixed term university employee with an already negotiated salary and benefits.
